The Consultant's Plan & Why It Matters

On Tuesday, July 28, 2020, a developer-consultant hired by the City of Rollingwood presented his vision for the future of the City, which contemplates tripling the population of Rollingwood by building three and four-story apartment or condo complexes on nearly every commercial tract on Bee Caves Rd. Many of these tracts are adjacent to or steps away from single-family homes in Rollingwood.

The 74-page document is available on the City of Rollingwood's website here. The Rollingwood City Council has not yet taken any action on the plan, but the developer who proposed the plan asked that it be passed on final vote in September 2020.
