Statesman Story on Community Opposition

The Austin American-Statesman published a feature story on the proposed land-use development plans for Rollingwood and the opposition of many community residents. The story included an interview with a true Rollingwood gem, 86-year old Mewes Goetzmann, who moved to her tree-top home with her husband in 1964. The story includes a response from Mayor Dyson, who appears to fully back the highest-intensity rezoning along Bee Caves Road that would take away residents' views and build high next to current homes.
